Over 291,200 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Kandahar

In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has registered 291,235 jeribs (58,247 hectares) of state-owned land and public properties under state institutions use in southern Kandahar province.

Out of the total; 2,700 jeribs (540 hectares) is public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 288,535 jeribs (57707 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.

Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has so far registered more than 6,000,000 jeribs (1,200,000 hectares) of state land and is determined to register the land in order to facilitate the implementation of public projects.
