Bahrabad and Pol Alam Teachers’ Township Comprehensive Plan Approved

Mr. Mahmood Karzai, Acting Minister of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, approved the comprehensive plans for teachers' township in Pul-e-Alam, the capital of Logar province, and a township in Bahrabad in Behsud district of eastern Nangarhar province.

Moreover, the township of Pol-e-Alam is being constructed on 350 jeribs (70 hectares) of land and the Bahrabad Township on 201 jeribs (40.2 hectares) of land.

In addition, with the implementation of these comprehensive plans, the township will be built in accordance with the international engineering standards and a standard urban service will be provided to all citizens.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has finalized strategic development plans for Kabul, Nangarhar, Kandahar, Balkh, Khost and Herat provinces, which will soon be submitted to the Cabinet for approval.
