Over 79,000 Urban Informal Houses Registered in Herat
In proceed of registering urban informal houses, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has recently registered 79,014 houses throughout western Herat province.
Out of the total; 72,743 urban informal houses are in different parts of Herat city and the remaining 6,271 houses are in Injil district.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has in view that by the end of 2020, distribute 200,000 occupancy certificates to the houses in urban informal areas of 8 cities.
In addition, the 8 cities are Kabul, Mazar-e-Sharif, Herat, Kandahar, Jalalabad, Farah, Bamyan and Nili and there are four districts that are Mir Bacha Kot district of Kabul province, Injil district of Herat, Spin Boldak district of Kandahar and Balkh district of Balkh province as a result of which 1 million people will enjoy the secure property.
