Over 257,300 Jeribs of Land Surveyed in Herat

In implementation of the State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has survey and registered 257,308 jeribs (51,461.6 hectares) of state-owned land and public properties under state institutions use in western Herat province.
Out of the total; 245,108 jeribs (49,021.6 hectares) is unused state-owned land, and the remaining 12,200 jeribs (2,440 hectares) are public properties under state institutions use.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has so far registered about 6,000,000 jeribs (1,200,000 hectares) of state-owned land and is intended to pave the path for the implementation of public projects throughout the country.
