Over 143,000 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Helmand

In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has registered 314,597 jeribs (62,919.4 hectares) of state-owned land and properties divided into 133 portions throughout southern Helmand province.
Out of the total; 1,318 jeribs (263.6 hectares) of land is public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 313,279 jeribs (62,655.8 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.
Moreover, since the initiative, in order to implement grand development projects, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has registered 6,811,482 jeribs (1,362,296.4 hectares) of state land and properties divided into 6,939 portions in 31 provinces of the country.
