Over 600,000 Jeribs Land Surveys in Western Provinces

The Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has surveyed and registered 667,312 jeribs (133,462 hectares) of state-owned land and public properties under state institutions, since the establishment of the State Land Bank.

Out of the total; 185,035 jeribs (37,007 hectares) are of state land in Herat province, 112,175 (22435 hectares) state land and properties in Ghor, 139,447 (27,889.4 hectares) of state land and properties in Badghis and 230,655 (46,131 hectares) of public land under the use of state institutions in Nimruz province, respectively.

Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land in past two years has surveyed, mapped and registered more than 4,400,000 (880,000 hectares) jeribs of state-owned land, which is divided into 5,109 portions in 28 provinces of the country.
